在安全通用标准IEC-1中，对电动类器具的输入功率只有上偏差限制。在旧版标准IEC-2-14中，正常温升对电机的加载测试，只要不出现危险状况，允许电机绕组温升超过限值。
但是，年发布的新版标准IEC-2-14:，对于正常温升时的测试功率要求更为严格。
新版要求如下：
morethan80%ofratedpowerinputforaratedpowerinputnotexceedingW;
额定功率≤W，测试功率要超过额定功率的80%；
morethanratedpowerinputminus60WforaratedpowerinputbetweenWandW;
额定功率W-W，测试功率要超过（额定功率-60W）；
morethan85%ofratedpowerinputforaratedpowerinputexceeding.
额定功率W，测试功率要超过额定功率的85%。
测试结果：
电机绕组温升不能超过标准限值。
例如：搅拌机，额定功率W，测试要求如下：
此搅拌机的温升测试必须加载功率直到超过W。
测试周期可以按说明书规定时间加1分钟（或按标准时间3分钟）；中间休息1分钟，共10个循环。

Blender如果杯盖没有连锁开关，原来可以用带mm直径的挡板，长度为mm的测试手指B触碰，如果触碰不到运动部件，则也是符合标准要求。删除该段要求后，意味着只能用挡板为50mm，长度为80mm的测试手指B来触碰。对于盖子没有连锁的玻璃杯，塑料杯或者是金属杯来说是影响比较大
